PASHA DRZEWICKA

1999: One morning at 2am, the alarm woke me up. Thinking it was the bedside alarm, I reached over to turn it off but realised it was the house alarm and one of the cats must have gone downstairs. Half asleep, I headed for the stairs only to be met by Pasha who was lying across the top of the staircase. I tried to step over her a couple of times but she growled, hissed and continually bit my ankles. Looking down into the darkness an inky shadow exited the ground floor window. We had just been burgled. Had it not been for my beautiful Pasha, I would have walked into a nightmare.
